And yup, I blasted two ships, sunk them both. I didn't see any "supermen" 
and the smoke was the same as before the mod. (not that really good looking thick stuff like in your screenshots)
Also, the debris in the water was the same as before the mod. And the damage to the ships was just the black smudges on the hull.
I am sure I must have done something wrong, but can't think of what it is. :hmm:

I do not think that you use the right folder out of the mod: You have to use Rbs1_SH4_Effects_GWX_21_204f/ data / Library + Sound+ Sea+ Textures and Zones.cfg. Your "tree" have to look as above. Then you will get effects. Trust me!
