I was trailing a vessel in a quick mission, I believe he picked me up since he was dodging like crazy, I had to take countless full rudder turns just to keep up. We were twisting back and forth for quite a while and I took a couple of pot shots that were sure to hit but mysteriously missed.
I decided what the heck, he might be close enough to see with the periscope while submerged. So I raised the scope and peered around untill i saw a small keel and hull on the surface. Turns out I'd been sweating it out with a friggin sailboat for nearly an hour! I was wondering why my narrowband wasn't picking up anything... guess I'm still a newbie.
