I'm having an issue with the sound.act file... and it's happening to effect my 1943 campaign as well.

I too, have tried a clean install up to 1.4 without any sound mods. It seams that shortly after my first patrol sinking it decides to CTD. No other campaign year is affected by it, just 1943.

Very strange.
