Come on Hunter, The oil companies can only charge what the market will bear. The real reason is world supply demand. We have made China and India consumers. They are building all the worlds commodities. With work comes money, with money comes desires, and everyone in these third world countries wants a car just like you and me. So they go out buy that car cause they don't want to ride that damn bike anymore. And they got to put gas in that thing. So now it's not just you and me that wants gas. It's countries that have Billions of people that want some of the action, so it's time WE stop wanting what everyone else wants and go with something new. It will take them time to catch up....
