To display the swastika in Germany is only allowed when it comes to civic education, defense unconstitutional aspirations, art or science, research or teaching, reporting on events of current affairs or history or similar purposes.
According to law, computer games does not fall into these categories. The movie India Jones for example is art, therefore it is allowed to show swastikas in movies

I think PC games fall under the category of "toys" in Germany & Austria, therefore it's illegal for them to contain (or even mention) swastikas, Sigrunes (SS runes) or any other NSDAP related symbols. I have the CDV version of Combat Mission: Beyond Overlord (which I purchased from a store here in Canada) and in that game all Waffen SS units are labelled "Waffen Grenadier".
