It was my fault for thinking it worked before. The problem was, I had only just re-installed SHIII for the first time this year and had been playing
SHIV recently... so in my mind I was thinking "but I
CAN hit F10 (really F6) to get the deck gun cam... what went wrong!?" when in fact, I hadn't been able to use F10 in
SHIII at all
Now you mention it, I do vaguely remember this problem... but I don't recall having to reprogram the F10 key... so I tried a different d3d9.dll (written by Racer_S) which I think I might have used at the time but now it's just CTD city... doesn't work. Although... I am using a different video card setup now so can't be sure. Heh, maybe it's a surprise effect of "upgrading" to XP
