The U.S. government is by far the largest debtor to the United Nations and is falling further behind in dues payments to the UN and its affiliated agencies. None of which changes the fact that we contribute more to the UN than any other country and iirc that's not including the all that prime Manhatten real estate the UN building is sitting on with is worth billions in itself.

As far as I and ever increasing numbers of my countrymen are concerned we'd be happy if our UN budget were zero and we kicked that nest of thieves and spies from our shores.
