As far as depth, I'm not exactly sure. I think you would probably have a hard time sneaking in. It is between 35 and 45 feet deep.
In the first pic you can see the muddy water caused by the ship. The harbor is only about 2-2.5 miles from here. I never know when a ship is there unless it is on its way out. I don't go up there much anymore. Kind of take it for granted. I only knew about this one because I heard it on the scanner. Some guy with what sounded like a heavy French accent said they were departing the harbor. Kind of odd to hear since the ship is owned by American Steamship Company.
