Even then it's hard to avoid that tell-tale slowing down that SH3 exhibits whenever there is a ship or convoy near by.
TBH though, apart from the two TC settings listed above (I set both to 4096 because sometimes I just need to hurry things up), my approach is
exactly the same as yours.
