Thank you for all the praise, and also some of the criticism. To put the things in the right perspective:
Sailor Steve, I agree with you that the pin-ups are a poor taste but as you said nobody is forcing you to use them (just delete them from your MODS directory). Matter of fact I originally made them just to learn how to actually make one... As far as officers faces go I did replace Lt Werner with Bosun and there are two reasons for that: 1) There is no designated radio man in Das Boot as far as I know Hinrich is the Radio/Sonar operator. It seemed stupid to me to have an icon of the same person twice. 2) Bosun was the only person in the movie to actually be seen near the radio (in the scene with Hinrich and the soccer news) therefore my choice of the character. The backgrounds replaced are: Academy (I couldn't stand the "orange" GWX's, it felt completely out of place and didn't flow with the others, but again matter of taste), changed the in-game menu (after you hit Esc during the game), replaced poster on the bureau screen and some minor modification to others...

This mod wasn't meant to be anything breathtaking, just some minor things which were bugging me.... Wait until you see what I am working on for SH4...
