Not much to add there except for one thing:
If you want to use salvos of torpedoes you should take care that you don't mix different types of torps into one salvo.
I mean, you *could* shoot a steam powered eel at low speed so that it matches the speed of a slower electrical torpedo but then you would give up the steam's greatest advantage - it's speed.
And you can't choose the tubes for a salvo freely, just the given configurations (i.e. tubes 1 and 3 or tubes 2 and 4). So it is best to take care that tubes 1+3 are loaded with the same kind of torpedo in case you want to use them in a salvo.
