SH4's crew management system is worth the price of admission all by itself. The better-looking crew and environment are just icing on the cake. The much shorter loading times don't hurt either. Mind you, I'll be playing SH3 until the change is complete, but after that SH4 will be the new SH3 and I won't miss it a bit.

HAHA yeah , well.... I say this as I have hardley put a dent into the game play of SH3... I never last many patrols... going beyond 1940 would be something new..

You got me intrigued I must say and have been youtubing on SH4 material and the graphics are very nice.... game play I wont miss as I have never played it..
Still mods such as this are bridgeing the visual gap every day...
