Dear Media Inbred Sensationalist Retards...

I recently discovered that CNN has actively and openly taken a stance against the "murder simulator" of GTAIV. However, I believe it would be in my good graces to point out the difficulty in calling GTAIV a "murder simulator" as it is often labeled. For instance, when I picked up a pistol and started using it in GTA, I discovered to my surprise that their was no recoil or upswing in my controller! The rumble vibration of the controller does little to mimic this except, hence it's name, jostle about a little. After running out of ammo, I pressed the "B" button to reload and discovered to my great surprise that the character immedietly removed the magazine and inserted a new one into the weapon on his own! Without my direct intervention or aid! The only part of this process I participated in was simply telling him when to do it! Rather perplexing then to refer to it as a way of "teaching people to kill" when the only thing it teaches them is that pressing B = character adds more numbers to his gun counter.

I also find it rather difficult to claim similar for driving. Since much of the actual process is removed for the sake of convienience. Indeed, when Mr. Bellic entered a car I told him to get into, he immedietly started the car by himself and was even kind of enough to turn on the lights for me on a dark night! Were this an actual simulator, I would have immedietly moved the transmission lever from "Park" to "Drive", but yet again Mr. Bellic was kind enough to do this for me!

So you will have to understand why I consider it somewhat perplexing when a media personality throws a rather infantile tantrum and claims that such matieral is teaching people how to murder fellow men. (I haven't even begun to talk about the AI of who's patterns, like with all games, eventually become predictable. Almost comically so.)

Perhaps I wouldn't consider this subject worth my effort if it wasn't for the media's peculiar fascination with such things as this, instead of George W. Bush's numerous Bill of Rights infractions or ignorance towards the plight of regions such as Darfur, or how big the ball of heroin currently within the chambers of your bowel is. But alas, I am only one of America's horribly corrupted, atheist, non-Republican youth.

Merely a concerned citizen,
Hawkeye
