I also have two installs, 1.4 and 1.5. In my case, I cannot get the "Pacific Environment" MODs to work with 1.5. When i try, I get immediate crashes to BSOD with the first DD deck gun firing or first torpedo explosion. So I use W_Clear's "Environment MOD" with 1.5. When I want
specific PE eye candy and/or FX, I run 1.4.
The issue effects others, specifically those using both VISTA and 8800GTX Graphics card. (as I do)... Something changed between 1.4 and 1.5 which effects 1.5's compatibility with VISTA in combination with 8800GTX and/or some aspect of the Pacific Environment MOD.
All other MODs work fine with either 1.4 or 1.5.....and I have approximately 25-30 MODs enabled with each.
