Med is the best area, not anly to hunt big British Navy ships but also to hunt big troop and merchant ships.
I do suggest La Valletta after Italy surrender in 1943 (at least 2 BB and 4 LC's)
. You can find some goodies at port of Alexandria. After you visit Loch Ewe, you should go north to Tornshaven (I don't remember exactly how it's written properly). There's 1 Heavy Cruiser, easy shot

You can hunt for carrier (essex class) group near norwegian coast after 1942. Especially at area north-east from Bergen.
