Hi, just an idea
if it can be done, as a ship passes is it possable to have it's horn sounded, this would work well as a greeting in normal weather & also in fog!
The only catch would be not to have the enemy sounding it's presence!
Just imagine being on the bridge and hearing the ships sound in foggy weather, would certainly add to realism!
