Well, I say the current method is good enough!
I spend once (some years ago - first W@W patrol) 5 realtime hours evading multiple DD's....north of Britania; a very hairy situation with a banged up Boot with only 60 m under Keel! And angry tommies above me!
I really was fatigued like hell! my responses were incredible sloppy at the end! :hmm:
My eyes burned my ears ringed from the constand DC's and my head hurt from the goddamn pinging! ASDIC
I hit the bunk (my real bed) as soon as i got my Boot out of harms way, and dropped dead!!
