Not really. It's impossible to do anymore. There is no front line. If they strictly enforced it there wouldn't be any females in either theater. Times have changed. That rule has been around a lot longer than 92 though. The real deal is they didn't want a female silver star winner to risk getting wounded or killed. That would be bad publicity. |
