Just turn it off in the realism options in the main menue. To change the options in your campaign, you must be in your office befor your patrol. Locate the radio on the shelf at the left of the office. Click the radio to change realism options. I'm useing RFB 1.4, so there isn't any extra step involved to change options. It's pretty straight forward.
