Need to find Download copy of SHIII...somewhere...
Evening Gentlemen,
I have recently completely rebuilt my PC and am now in the unfortunate position of having to try to wrestle with the copy protection nightmare that is the Starforge copy protection attached to the DVD version of SHIII. When I attempted to install off my DVD, it ran the copy protection install and then shut down my PC...
on subsequent reboot, it cleared the POST test, then locked up. It apparently had disabled ALL of my SATA drives (3 Hard-drives and my DVD-Burner) in it's "zeal" to protect the world from pirated software...the only way to recover from this was to roll back my system to a restore point before installing SHIII.
Since undergoing this "nightmare", I've been searching for a place to purchase the file via Download, like IGN or Direct-2-Drive, but I can no longer find it...
Anyone have any suggestions? Your help, as always, will be most appreciated...
