Hey Sarsfield
Im currently in the planning stage of making shipping lane charts for Run Silent Run Deep campaign. These could very easily include patrol grids, but i dont have the original patrol grids. I have those that were on the Valor at Sea website, but i don't know if those are correct compared to real life grids.

Those PZ's on Hondo's site were compiled from Silent Hunter 1's patrol zones and its traffic. According to further investigation by Jerry using: "National Geographic maps of WW II; Asia & the Pacific" Dec 1991 and another book on WW II subs, the shipping lanes used in SH1 are pretty close to realistic... with some differences. I have a small graphic he made that compares reality with the game but don't have the rights to post it. In the end SH1 had 15 PZ's in the SHCE edition in PacFlt and SoWesPac. (there were a few more we would have liked)
You could make any number of patrol zones to place patrol stars for your campaign and probably be pretty close. SH1 had a real WW II skipper as a consultant when SSI made the game which is nice.
