I'd also recommend just getting time in the air and seeing what you can make work with a rudder and what makes you stall out. If you have been flying with no rudder at all then the learning curve is going to be a bit highger BUT you will ntoice yoru piloting abilities increase a LOT when you start to get used to rudder control.
