I checked my two favorite skin flick sites, and US got the 1st position.

As I said the short docu film referred to a counting or study done by Google back then. The channel broadcasting it, 3SAT, is NOT some bad TV format, but arguably one of the high quality formats we have over here, beeng run by Gemany, Austria and Switzerland (=3SAT).
But anyway, that was just a snappy reply to some really absurd way of statistic distortion being linked to with that rape statistics before. It gives the impression that females get treated nice and respectful in Saudi Arabia, and extremely bad in other, Western countries. And that is absurd, considering that in many regions in the Islamic and non-Western world as well women are treated like locked-away lifestock. Especially Turkey I do not exclude, and having spend several months in rural turkey, central and Eastern Anatolia, I have seen how very orthodox and conservative men rule over women in many families. Read my lips: men
ruling over women and not rarely with brute force, even lethal force. Optimists may call that respectful and crime-preventing. I do not.
And regarding the woman getting killed by following a naive idea that obviously was not well-thought out, I refuse to hypocritically feign a reaction of sadness and embarassement that both I do not feel. When you behave like a fool, don't complain if people laugh, or you raise attention.
For the newcomers in the forum, a story I have told before, but it still makes me smile. Actually, it made a whole monastery laughing back then. A monk in a Zen monastery in Japan, I think in the late 70s that was, got some of the teachings about the power of mind extremely wrong. He raised in the night, left the monastery and walked and stepped onto the railtrack nearby, trying to stop the night express by sheer will power, or whatever. You can imagine how it ended if an express train hits a human body that is protected by will-power-protection shields. When the police brought the message to the monastery the next morning, to the bewilderment of the officers the abbot could not prevent himself from starting to laugh. And short time later the whole monastery laughed as well.
Well, that probably is the best you could do. Are such things like the woman's murder or the monk killing himself tragic for the families? Yes. Are they tragic beyond the immediately affected relatives and friends? No. So stop being so hypocritical everybody and stop considering yourself needing to shoulder the burdens of all the world and it's people. A woman travelling alone in dangerous places wearing a bride's dress to promote "world peace" is not only absurd, but funny beyond ridicule - and when reading about that dress, it made me laugh indeed. Like it makes me laughing if seeing an old black and white comedy where Laurel pulls the front door bell out of the wall and the whole rood falls onto Hardy's head. - After banning certain cartoon series, or attempting to, I'm sure that PC sooner or later will try to ban Laurel and Hardy as well - over terms of extreme brutality and cynism that are unsuitable for children and adults alike. Evidence: a roof falling onto somebody's head is not funny, but lethal - but Skybird laughed. Shame on me.
