When running into a convoy that is widely spaced, its entirely possible to relive a historical "night surface attack" - running at high speed into and out of a convoy, using the ships themselves to aid in your escape. With the reduced visual spotting range the ships have, its ok if I get spotted by a single ship - it gets sunk and the escorts all come running. By the time they get there - they get another report of me being spotted somewhere else, and another ship goes boom! When I see they are finally getting too close, I can disappear on the surface at high speed and then reattack from another angle.
Simply put - I LOVE LIGHT FOG!!!! Just thought I would share that.

That's what I like to hear! Balance has been restored to the fog world. So those are your two mods? Sounds elegant!
