Thx much for the detailed reply Art, it's much appreciated. Sadly, I must report, I did not back up commands.cfg and menu.txt before applying the SD mod for the first time, so I fear to correct the problem it's going to be a reload. A reload more than likely needs to be done anyway as I mistakenly added several 1.4 mods after appling the 1.5 patch.
I completely agree with adding mods "the old fashioned way", I think I just got lazy.
