Yes, it has been asked, and maybe it will happen with another add on, maybe not. Probably it depends how popular the uboat add on gets. In my opinion, 1.5 added not only uboats, but also improved some gameplay stuff. And if the devs ain't putting it up, maybe some modders will try to do it...
