Actually, there was one -
Triple Cross was made in 1966. Not a particularly stunning work and not spectacularly close to the reality, but not bad. Christopher Plummer was the lead.
There are rumours. BTW, that Tom Hanks is working on a movie on .M Zigzag, to be released in a couple of years.
