Sounds like a rough day at the office. Make sure you assign some men to the damage control party and move the rudder to the top of the repair list. Also make sure you secure from silent running. Men won't repair damage unless you have secured from silent running. If you sound general quarters the men seem to work faster (maybe not true, but I've seen things get repaired faster under general quarters.) If you can stay sumerged until nightfall, less chance of being attacked by aircraft. Good Luck Captain!
