And don't stick around the Kudamm like a lot of tourists whose guidebook is from the 80's.
If you go to Deutsches Museum in Munich, don't forget to make a trip to the aircraft collection in Oberschleissheim (which is somewhat outside of town). The car collection is in its own complex too (with the Auto Union famous from Bernd Rosemeyer).
