Nope, not the first. I had one in mid '43 while infiltrating the anchorage at Truk. Just about every DD in the harbor started racing toward me as soon as I hit "All Back Emergency." Boy am I glad I manually check the torpedos on sonar that they are indeed running hot straight and normal. That shot would have probably finished off the Fuso I was attacking.

p.s., I died anyways. (5 DD's + 65 ft water + 1 Sub = Death)
