I'll go one better, I have a 7600GS, that will get you down to safe speed so you don't hurt yourself.:rotfl: And you won't have to waste all that time installing MODS 'cause they won't run over 17fps. I'm just looking out for your safety!!
If you don't mind me asking what brand do you have? I was looking at an 8800GTS: EVGA at $114 and an MSI at $119 (after rebate) but I am not familiar with either brand.

I have an 8800GT, not GTS, in my opinion the best performance for each $ you can get, you can spend more, sure, but you won't get that much more out of it (IE, if a card costs 50% more, I doubt it'll give you 50% more performance to boot). At least from the research I did on cards before I built this system, which granted wasn't THAT extensive, but I poked around, and I'll trade $250 for a 6 FPS loss any day
As far as brands, I don't know that much either! I got an EVGA from newegg, they had a nice overclocked model I liked, no work for me, barely cost more then the base price and had good reviews, my motherboard was EVGA also though so that's part of the reason as well. But I've heard great things from both EVGA and BFG as far as brands go, and I just read on gamespot they were using an XFX to test a new 9 series card, so they should be all good brands.
I'd check up the different brands on newegg and check the ratings
