I don't know what came over me. As I was sitting here with SH3 going, watching my u-boat heave in the stormy sea lulled me into an introspective mood and I began to think how I would write such a log if I were this man. I took some details from the background info that SH3 Commander fills in for your kaleun and just ran with it.

To me, a good story is always about the heart and the choices to which it can sometimes lead us.

Perhaps I'll have the courage to continue publishing Schutz's personal log. That format seems to allow for better expression than the bureaucratic terseness of a patrol log.
