Well thanks for the build up Jim 
Chicken is not a Aggressive tactic it is beyond aggressive. But Sometimes it becomes a suicidal tactic.
You need nerves of steel and it also helps if you are a little mad as iam. 
All you need to do is line yourself up with the on coming DD. Don't worry about giving your position away.
Then when he is coming in fast and straight at you let him have a fish down his throat.
Fire about about 380m too 450m so he has no chance of maneuvering out of the way.
