Engaged enemy convoy grid CN22, large merchant, ore carrier and River-class escort. Large merchant hit by two torpedoes, sank shortly after. Simultaneous attack by group of Stukas at the escort and ore carrier. Two Ju-87's shot down, escort hit by bomb amidships and sank in 2 minutes. Ore carrier badly damaged by bombs, coup de grace after 1 hour.
