Dunno, just read that it won a mod award, and is supposed to be alot better than the original. The interface is gone, since you will basically run the game in GTR2, but the music is easy to throw over, just put the mp3`s in gamedate/something/soundsormusic.
They have reworked the cars and physics, and added new versions of the cars, like the broad-butted Porsche, etc, etc.
The possibilities of the GTR2 engine is the icing of the cake, though. Just imagine being in a Ford GT40 on the Nordschleife, and then it starts raining ...
