Although one or two of the mp3s weren't recognised by RSM and I had to remove them.
Everything works now though, and I just listened to my first news broadcast. Very cool. Adds tons to the immersion, although the sound was very muted.
EDIT: Any way to make the radio louder? Have it turned up all the way in sound options...

You have to play with whatever program your computer uses to play the mp3 files. I have creative labs and it lets you pre-set the levels on certain files. The easier way is to turn down the game levels for ambient sounds and voice, radio option all the way up. I usually do this because not all recordings are any where near perfect. Enjoy.
