I lived here on the NW side while attending Francone Elementary just to the East on Windfern and Campbell Junior High across the street. We lived in the apartment complex just SE of the intersection and in the building SW of the pool. I'll never forget the look on the faces of the residents when we moved in April and jumped in the pool! :rotfl::rotfl:

Right away, they new we were yankees. Back then, the same thing applied regarding the expanse of suburbia...there was basically nothing between FM 1960 and Tomball, and Sam Houston Tollway wasn't even thought about yet.
