I too have had this problem keeping depth constant without increasing speed.

Late in the war I was around 240 meters and I needed 1/3 speed just to maintain depth. This made the depth-charging escorts very happy and appreciative.

I would be equally appreciative if any of the GWX crew could tell us what depths each type can go before they become too negative for slow silent speed?

What I am looking for is the max depth I can run and maintain my depth with no more than slow with silent running. Any deeper and I may negate the advantages of silent running/deep depth.
