Didn't minesweepers have special ways to detect things underwater in the war?
(like mines and logically u boats too...)

Sometimes its just the game, I had merchants spot me at 90 feet deep running silent and no scope out. No way he could have seen me but when I got to close he did anyway. Sometimes its hard to play games :P
