Without meaning disrespect to the moderates and obviously as a gross generalisation, they tend to not voice an opinion. I cant tell if that is because of the fear of reprisals by extremists (in which case we should be bloody scared) or because they dont want to voice an opinion because they quietly agree with the extremists. |
I would say it's because they're moderates. Have you ever heard a moderate anything to really voice an opinion? Those crafty moderates just love to let the two opposing poles duke it out and reach a compromise without them lifting a finger  |
Its not so much that we moderates like waiting for the extremeists duke it out, its more the fact thayt we have realized that there is no possibiliy of an acceptable compromise with either extreme unless they are both on the brink of anhialation.
