See, this is what I mean. You specify 5, but there's are more slots. I thought they all had to be filled. Is there any purpose to cycling different crew members in and out of those slots?? Like do they get higher mechanical/electrical repair ratings over time?? This is level of training I need, 2+2=4, not e=MC2.
And no, it's probably not that hard to manage, if you know what you're doing. Not all of us are intuitive enough to figure things out that are easy for others.
