This is incorrect.
It doesn't work best with Nvidia.
Nvidia cards get the full sun glare, while ATI does not, but that does not have anything to do with ROW.
I have an ATI card, and Row has added beautiful ocean colors and sunsets and sunrises, even without the full sun glare.
I have not experienced any frame rate issues with ROW either.
You can only benefit from using it. Give it a try, you won't be dissapointed.
