Example German u-boat crew loved type VII boats built in Hamburg shipyards because they had a reputation for being stronger than VII's built in other yards. And type VII u-boats had a safe depth rating of 100 meters beyond that the boat is not promised not to fail even know those boats have gone to 320 meters and survived. One boat crushes at 290 another at 340. Like life its a gamble!
