I came back into Wilhemhaven from my the first patrol of my career last night, it was night and pouring rain, so terrible visibility. Just as I start to enter the harbor, I reach for my cup of tea, turn around, and BOOM- there's a freighter parked right across the entrance only a couple hundred meters away!!! Emergency reverse and I manage to slow to a 2 knot collision.
I don't know who decided it was a good idea to park a freighter across the entrance at night, in weather, but I can think of more effective means of protection. From the enemy.
