The TA and TMA system on the subs is easy to use and i've been using that system, or similar, since 688 attack sub ~15 years ago. It's almost natural to use it in manual mode.

For me its the contrary, autotma on the frigate and manual tma on the subs.
On the other hand most people don't like manual tma so in multiplayer matches I'll almost always use autotma so as to not be at a disadvantage. :p
