Default Bernard is in my Seawolf !!!

Last night, I was setting up to fire off a TLAM at a land target when I detected a few incoming enemy warships. I had the TLAM all programmed and ready to go so I thought that I would just wait a while and torpedo these ships before launching. I set up fireing solutions as accurate as I could and got myself all set up to surprise them with a nice spread of torpedoes !

What does my weapons officer Bernard do ? When I give the order to fire, He shoots off the TLAM instead of the torpedoes.
Yes.. my surprise attack had certainly been a surprise, not only to the enemy ships who suddenly saw a missile explode from the waves right in front of them, but to me as well !
Immediately, I had two helo's hovering over me with dipping sonars pointing me out to every enemy ship in the area and torpedoes being dropped directly on top of me.

Also, a wierd thing was going on on the navigation screen. I had a jet contact and it was continually moving on the map WHILE I WAS UNDERWATER. It was definitely an aircraft as it was moving way too fast to be a ship and I even cheated and used show truth for a couple secconds to verify if it was a bug or not. It seems that my sonar man somehow had super sonar that could track the sounds of a jet flying at a thousand feet above the ocean. Is this because one of my friendly platforms was detecting it and if so, how was I getting the information while I was submerged ? I thought that radios didn't work while submerged. :hmm:

I can see the jet's position being updated on the map if maybe I had the ESM mast up or even the periscope up to track it by it's radar signals, but I had no masts up. I was at a depth of about 68 feet. How was my TMA officer getting the information about the position of this jet ?!?
