Yeah, it's funny sometimes. I can clearly see a ship way out on the horizon through my binoculars but my WO just stands there scratching his rear end. I ask for a range to the ship...and he says no ship is sighted.
Of course, I understand the ship is actually outside the AIs ability to detect. I also get the same thing with my hydrophone. My sonar guy is really pretty deaf even in the best of circumstances.
