I'm struggling to get a second source though. Anyway, I can't seem to get the newly created aircraft to do anything when it detects me... it just flys past like it was pete search plane. Also struggling to force a particular loadout for the plane when it is sent from an airbase. Anyone else tried to get particular loadouts from planes generated at airfields? (pretty sure it is selecting the "Basic" loadout feature... pretty sure that makes it purely search orientated) Even when I disable the two out of three loadouts I dont want, the basic config seems to be unescapable.
I can add randomn groups for the result, but requires adding all the waypoints. No biggie I guess, just more time consuming.... lost track of how many hours spent on this project so far. On another note, the Kate works perfectly for torpedo runs, 1.4 patch tidied them right up.
The idea was to put them in VERY limited numbers, close to the home islands late in the war... they would give you a headache if you stayed surfaced. I spawned 25 of them on me and they scored about 15 hits. My initial efforts was creating an airbase just for them... but this has proved wasteful for time... unless I can find some way to force their loadout... I tried adding entries to the .mis files and all sorts of tricks... no joy.
