I was only being silly OLC, in reality I have a keyboard and mouse on a piece of wood which slides under the desk, so the desk itself is always clear.
That said, I only play SH3 when on asigned patrol for WolvesAtWar. The desk gets pretty cluttered with log ook, U-Boat Handbook, operation procedures etc etc.
Have you tried WaW, you should check it out if not because i'd say you'd really enjoy it.
