The only time I have ever seen a battleship in game it was the Rodney
on the outside of a convoy at 6knts at midnight in calm seas with no
moon I had my last 4 torps ready to fire.....
I identified it as a cruiser 10km away, ignored it and launched my torps at some
tankers from 4km away.
The star shells went up afte I got 4 hits and guess what I culd see clear as day in the
flare light, still doing 6knts.
